The customer needed to expand an existing compressor station in an area with poor soil conditions and a fast timeline. The team installed 25 helical piles in just three days, allowing the customer to complete the expansion ahead of schedule.
The customer required an evaluation of the geotechnical report to determine if helical piles were a viable foundation solution for a renewable gas plant. HELICOR’s engineering team reviewed the report and provided preliminary pile specifications. A test installation was performed, which confirmed feasibility, leading to the full-scale design and phased execution of 600 helical piles.
